Growing up in Nebraska with a veterinarian father, Bruce complements his veterinary background with a proven and successful track record in technology and real estate. Dr. Pedersen received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University in 1992 and has special interest in bovine reproduction and medicine. An innovator in veterinary software (the first with his vet school partner to develop software that incorporated pet pictures on invoices), Bruce pursued his vision by pairing his diverse experience and passion for Veterinary medicine to design and build the “Mayo Clinic of Veterinary Medicine”.
For more than 20 years, Heather has held the role as both Dr. Bruce’s wife and entrepreneurial business partner. Together they started their first veterinary practice in 1994 which rewarded them with the coveted Veterinary Economics Practice of Excellence Award. As a licensed stockbroker, money manager, author, sign language interpreter, lodging business owner and mother of 3 teenagers, Heather brings her talents to the table by giving her “all” in both Idaho and North Dakota.
Dr. Nienhueser was born and raised in Gunnison, Colorado where his love for animals started when he was old enough to hold a puppy. He attended Colorado State University and graduated with his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. Dr. Seth brings his “can do” midwestern work ethic and best-of-the-best veterinary aptitude to enhance and progress WCVC. He loves the variety of cases that he gets to see as a true mixed animal practitioner and has a special interests in orthopedic surgery and bovine reproduction. In his spare time, he and his wife Vanissa, and their beautiful baby girl, Gracelyn can be found outdoors fishing, hiking or hunting with their two dogs, Rally and Talia.
Dr. Viniard joined us in summer of 2014 and has brought enthusiasm and balance to our team of doctors. Dr. Viniard graduated from Ohio State University with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine successfully fulfilling a lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian. As a child and adolescent, Dr. Viniard was active in her community 4-H and FFA programs where she showed horses, lambs, and market rabbits. Her passion for animals began with her first rabbit, Floppy, and has expanded to encompass her passion for agriculture. Dr. Viniard enjoys working in a farming and ranching community as she greatly supports and appreciates the great people and animals that put food on our tables. Dr. Viniard has joined our community with her husband, Jeff and their animal companions. (Great Dane – Zebulon and horse – Cody) Jeff and Megan were looking for adventure and wanted to experience what the Bakken has to offer, so when time allows they are exploring the area by means of hiking, camping and horseback riding.
Currently a staff member of Western Veterinary Clinic, we enjoy the relief of Dr. Charles Noland. We are grateful for this inspiring man to lend his expertise when we need veterinary relief. Dr. Noland has a B.S. in Chemistry from Montana State University in addition to his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University. He is a seasoned veterinarian with a reputation of being an “awesome equine vet”. He claims his hometown as Worden, Montana where he resides with his wife Laurel, his two daughters and three canine companions, Dak, Ice, and Deuce. He spends his free time enjoying outdoor sports and especially horseback riding.
Our extensive office staff is here to provide excellent customer service while we cater to the needs of your pet.
Vanissa is the glue that keeps it all together. A magnet for organizing people and projects, her keen eye for detail and communication skills set coupled with a B.S in Human Development and Family Studies from Colorado State University and Registered Nursing degree from Front Range Community College make her a terrific asset to the team incorporating her knowledge of human relations and medicine. Vanissa enjoys gardening, photography, and spending time outdoors with Dr. Seth, their beautiful daughter Gracelyn, and pups Rally and Talia. We are happy to have Vanissa on our team as she offers balance where the chaos tries to take over and she helps bring rhyme and reason to the in’s and out’s of clinic’s operations.

When possible Georgea and her family enjoy traveling and spending time together. It’s great to have someone on our team who understands how to meet the client on their level and is always thinking of ways to make the WCVC experience even better!

Karen cares for each client with her big heart and loves to make people smile. Our home-grown Watford City High School graduate, Diana pursued her passion for veterinary medicine by earning her B.S in Veterinary Technology from NDSU. Before coming home, Diana had spent the beginning of her career in New Mexico and Montana. She is a super mom with 3 kids, a supportive hubby, and has a plethora of pets including 4 dogs, 6 cats, 4 horses, 2 goats and an ever changing population of chickens and rabbits. She is a passionate fan of her kids hockey teams and the Denver Broncos, but her first love is horseback riding. We are so grateful for Diana, as her adept ability and professional veterinary knowledge makes behind the scenes patient treatment safe, gentle, and competent.
Our happy-go-lucky veterinary assistant, Jeana, jumped right in to the thriving practice with both feet. She moved to North Dakota after a summer visit with her brother. After initially “trying out working at veterinary clinic” she found this is right where she belongs, as she recognizes the positive impact she has on her patients and has felt the rewards of this career. Jeana loves horses and spent much of her childhood growing up on a ranch competitively show-jumping. She lives with her husband Marc, their German Shepherd “Trigger”, and her horse “Duke”. We love seeing Jeana’s smiling face each day and can’t wait to meet her baby in April!
Aaron came to us in early 2015 after graduating from the Veterinary Technician program at Pima Medical Institute in Colorado. Aaron has a desire to continue his veterinary career by advancing his education to become a Veterinarian. Aaron loves the science of veterinary medicine because there is always something to learn and discover. He also has great relations with all species of animals adding to his value as an LVT. Aaron enjoys playing video games and spending time with his family; Mother, Step-Father and Brother. We are so happy to have him on our team, as Aaron brings many great assets to WCVC including his unique sense of humor which offers reprieve at the moments it is most needed.
Amber is our all-star Boarding Manager – She joined us because she has a passion for animals as well as their 2-legged companions. Along with all our boarding technicians, Amber ensures that animals staying with us enjoy their days and their nights giving them plenty of kisses, hugs, and play time with a goal to “spoil them rotten”. Amber loves watching sports, traveling, hiking, camping and just spending time with her family; husband Roger, son Quayde and their full house of animals consisting of 4 dogs and 3 cats. Nicole came to WCVC looking for a fulfilling job where she was able to spend time loving on animals even though it didn’t quite fit with her Philosophy degree. Nicole has raised 3 boys; Justin, Hunter, and Jacob and is a wonderful wife to her husband, Gary. Generally, Nicole can be found supporting her family in their ventures – sports or other activities and finding things to do together. Although Nicole has 3 dogs at home to cuddle, she still enjoys sharing her love with our boarding guests as she states “they bring smiles to my face every day – and I hope to have the same effect on them”. We are so happy to have Nicole here at WCVC as she truly cares for everyone around her and makes all efforts to satisfy the needs of our guests and clients alike.
No stranger to pets, Kami loves animals and any opportunity to help them which is why she succeeds so wonderfully at her goal of keeping our guests happy and healthy during their stays. Kami has 3 dogs and 1 cat in addition to her family; husband Travis and 4 sons Zack, Zarret, Gage, and Zaden.
